Fauji Foundation Educational Stipend Scheme is the oldest welfare measure of Fauji Foundation.  The scheme benefits beneficiaries studying in Schools, Colleges, Universities, as well as those undergoing professional and technical education.

Introduced in 1954, with the award of 1,586 awards, the scheme today supports over 71,000 individuals and disperses over Rs. 120 million per year.

The Stipends and Awards fall into 3 categories:

1.  Normal Stipends
  • Normal Stipend – from Class IX onwards
  • Children of deceased and Class A Disabled ex-Service personnel from Class I
  • Special Disabled children from Class I
  • 2. Excellence Awards
  • Students obtaining 80% marks or more in intermediate are eligible
  • Award is Rs. 12,000 for Government-run professional college; Rs. 60,000 per
         annum for those entering Private Institutions 
     ( GIK, LUMS, FAST, IBA , Hamdard
         University Karachi , Aga Khan University Karachi & Baqai University Karachi ).
  • For Post Graduate courses, students obtaining 80% in intermediate and 67%
         in BA/BSc
  • 3.  Distinction Awards
  • Academic distinction awards is granted to beneficiary students (male & female separately) obtaining 1st, 2nd & 3rd position in board / university final examinations at the rates indicated below:-

    2nd Rs. 15,000 Rs. 25,000
    3rd Rs. 10,000 Rs. 15,000
